ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
1. The Cumbrian Rover Owners Club (NW) Ltd will promote a Clubman Cross Country
Vehicle Trial on [date] at [location] (map Ref xxx,xxx)
2. Held under the General Regulations of the RAC Motor Sports Association Ltd
(incorporating the provisions of The International Sporting Code or the FIA)
and the Supplementary Regulations.
3. Held under the General and Supplementary Regulations of The Association
of Land Rover Clubs Ltd.
4. All cross-country vehicles must have a log-booked rear roll bar in accordance
with the current ARC Handbook. In addition, a front hoop must be fitted in accordance
with the specifications laid down in the 1995 ARC Handbook for front hoop design.
5. All cross-country vehicles must carry a fire extinguisher in accordance
with ARC vehicle regulation F.6. The extinguisher must be permanently marked
with the vehicles logbook number and/or vehicle registration.
6. All vehicle occupants must be in a secure seat with a minimum of a lap strap
safety belt.

8. RAC MSA permit number has been issued for the event.
9. The competition fee is £10.
10. The competition will take place on the site and will not require the use
of public roads.
11. The organisers may exclude any competitor or vehicle whose appearance,
condition or performance is not of the standard appropriate to the event.
12. Entrants are expected to contact a club official prior to the event in
case of change of site or cancellation of the event.
13. In addition to RAC MSA Regulations E13, H22 and Appendix Q, all vehicles
must comply with the Vehicle and Supplementary Regulations of The Association
of Land Rover clubs Ltd.
14. Vehicle classes and amalgamations will be as defined in the regulations
of The Association of Land Rover Clubs Ltd.
15. Vehicles competing in cross country vehicle trials need not necessarily
comply with the statutory regulations regarding brakes, lighting, tyres, warning
devices, rear view mirror, silencer, speedometer, wings and windscreen.
16. Vehicles competing in cross-country vehicle trials need not necessarily
be taxed as a private car.
17. Vehicles competing in cross-country vehicle trials need not necessarily
carry a spare wheel capable of replacing one of the wheels on the vehicle.
18. Over aggressive tyres are not permitted.
19. Vehicles may be entered by more than one driver.
20. While on the competition site, only signed on competitors and officials
may drive vehicles between sections.
21. Recovery operations will be by winching or towing as necessary, under the
direction of the Clerk of the Course or an official delegated by him.
22. Running order will be determined by the Clerk or the Course on the day
dependant upon the entry. The entry may be divided into groups.
23. The starting signal will be by marshals instruction.
24. Marking and penalties will be as RAC MSA Regulations M.3.4 AND m.3.5.
25. Provisional results will be made available as soon as possible after the
completion of the competition, and anyway within two hours. Full results will
be published in the Club newsletter.
26. All protests must be made in accordance with RAC MSA Regulation O5.
27. Up to three prizes will be awarded in each class, with a trophy for 1st
place and a rosette for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
29. In the event of a tie, the number of scores of 0,1,2,3 will be taken into
account until a result is obtained.
30. Competitors should arrive at an event with sufficient fuel already in the
competition vehicle fuel tank for completion of the event.
31. RACMSA yearbook and ARC Handbook will be available for reference at signing
on.
32. The competition is open to all fully elected members of A.L.R.C. clubs
on production of a club membership card.
